IT Professionals

Alberta, for many years, has been one of the strongest economic performers in Canada.  35% of Alberta's industry are IT / Computing / Internet Services and Software / Web Development companies.  The recently elected provincial government has a multi-year strategy to renew and streamline their computer systems to better and more efficiently serve the citizens of Alberta.  Programs in excess of $500 Million have already been approved for the next 2 years, with more to come.

Innovation in the healthcare sector is a hot topic with significant investment money available, and the Oil & Gas industry is going strong.

Demand for skilled, experienced IT professionals is high - both in the consulting sector and for staff positions in the industry.  We are looking for Intermediate (3 - 6 years experience) and Senior Software Developers (5 - 8 years), Business Analysts (5+ years), System Architects (8 - 10 years), Infrastructure Architects (8 - 10 years), Data Architects (8 - 10 years), Solution Architects (10+ years), and certified Project Managers (10+ years).  Applicable technologies include Microsoft, Java, SAP and others - all platforms.  Experience with methodologies and certifications are definite assets.

Successful candidates will be flexible and adaptable to an environment that is generally fast-paced.  Fluency in English is a must - you will work with professionals and clients from diverse ethnic and national backgrounds.  Salary is commensurate with experience.

The positions are located in either Edmonton or Calgary - Edmonton catering predominantly to the Alberta Government with Calgary more focussed on Industry.

Work Permit

Honsek Consulting is in charge of screening applicants, and will process the work permit for the job applicant at no cost.  There will, however, be a fee for additional work permits for accompanying family members, should they also seek employment.
